THOUGHTS MADE BALD

Ouch!
11 July 2004

I'm sure everyone is tired of this refrain, but... my butt hurts! A lot. Today a group of colleagues and I went on a long bike ride along the Saint-Laurent, kilometers and kilometers and kilometers. We tried to cross the river via the Laviolette Bridge in Trois-Rivières, the only bridge that crosses the river between Montréal and Québec. It is a very imposing structure, and it would have been a lot of fun to bike across it, but unfortunately that turned out to be interdit. But it was a good ride, despite a sore ass. The especially nice side effect to all this cycling is that several pairs of pants that I bought just about two weeks ago are starting to become noticeably looser. After two more weeks here I may actually be able to wear all those clothes in the basement...
